We are delighted to be working with a prestigious engineering client based in Sheffield S9 that has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable Inspector to join their toolroom team.
Reporting into the Production Manager and working as part of a small and friendly team you will be you will be quality checking large batches of products for defects using magnification tools. As an Inspector you will:
Be Manually dexterous.
Possess a willingness to work overtime as and when required.
Have a good eye for detail.
Positive and eager attitude towards work and learning new things
This role would suit someone with previous knowledge of working with shadowgraphs or laser micrometers, as a tool room operative or a quality inspector within the tooling or aerospace industry. Ideally you will have a background in quality inspection and will have experience of working with small parts that have minor defects. You must have an excellent eye for detail and be able to concentrate for long periods on the job in hand.
