Reporting to the appointed Regional Operations Manager, the Installation Electrician and Service Engineer will be responsible for undertaking installation and repairs of all myenergi products. Based from home and working within a defined area (to cover, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, London and not excluding other areas on occasions). The Electrician will undertake visits to customer premises for scheduled appointments, and working to the highest standards, deliver all installations in line with BS7671 and Code-of-Practice requirements. Applicants must have no more than 6 points on their licence and any offer of employment will be subject to myenergi being able to obtain insurance for a cost we believe to be reasonable. Responsibilities: Fixed wiring installation of myenergi products to both single and three phase systems. Troubleshooting and repair of installations undertaken by third parties. Testing, inspection, and certification of installations. Survey and design of new bespoke installations. Ownership of vehicle inventory, stock keeping and replenishment. Collection of materials for bespoke installations. Delivery of targets and KPIs. Observation of safe working practices and health and safety compliance. The use, storage, and safe keeping of plant, materials and other consumables. Minimising waste, waste handling, and delivery of byproducts for recycling. Record keeping and reporting. Required Qualifications and Experience: Skills Competent in the use of electrical test equipment. Able to diagnose and undertake repairs on electrical wiring systems and hardware. Confident working independently using own initiative to resolve problems. Physically fit and able to carry out all manual tasks associated with this type of work. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time effectively to meet service timescales and objectives. Confident with new technology and IT systems. Self-motivated yet customer-focused. Ability to communicate confidently both internally and externally. Committed to customer service excellence. Experience Practical installation experience of electric vehicle charging systems. Practical installation experience of solar and battery storage systems (desirable). Experience working on single and three-phase systems. Experience working in a residential environment. Diagnosis and completion of electrical installations and repairs. Qualifications (required) City & Guilds - Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: 2018. Qualifications (desirable) City & Guilds - Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent). City & Guilds - AM2 qualification. City & Guilds - 2391 Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing (or equivalent). C&G 2919 Installation of EV Charging (or equivalent). C&G 2399 Solar PV Installation (or equivalent). Full-time, Permanent 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary:
