Head of Sales & Projects The UK Contracting department (Sales & Projects) has a vacancy for an Installation Engineer. The ideal candidate will be able to install AC&R systems efficiently and effectively to a high standard. A proactive and forward-thinking approach is required with a hands-on and can-do attitude. Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Become proficient in using our clients company’s and customer systems. Complete HVAC&R installations to our clients company’s high standards. Provide effective and efficient supervision on allocated projects. Closely liaise with project managers, administrators, site management, contractors, and customers to ensure installations go to plan and provide feedback. Complete all tasks associated with an installation (e.g., labelling, waste removal, and use of customer systems). Supervise labour (company, sub-contractor, and others), identify, resolve, and report issues to the project manager. Ensure compliance/adherence with company policies and procedures, particularly those related to health & safety, environment, and quality. Report on overall project progress as required. Complete and return all relevant documentation (paperwork or electronic) in a timely and accurate manner. Experience and Key Skills: Accuracy and attention to detail. Experience within refrigeration and air conditioning. Good time management and prioritisation skills. Ability to be flexible to meet changing demands. Ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills in all forms including written, verbal, e-mail, and telephone. Commercial awareness. Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team. Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental issues. Relevant Refrigeration certification (e.g., City & Guilds in AC&R). Excellent organisational and time management skills. A positive attitude. Able to follow company processes and procedures. IT skills, including Microsoft Office and handheld mobile devices. Full UK driving licence.
