This is due to their attention to detail, uncompromising standards when it comes to equipment manufacture, extensive national servicing team as well as their longstanding working relationship with the DVSA. Key customers include Arriva, Volvo, Stagecoach as well as the MoD, for whom they install and service brake testers both in the UK and abroad. Installation Engineers Assistant - The Role: The main tasks will include assisting the Installation Engineer with the installation and calibration of VLT equipment, removal and relocation of existing VLT equipment, customer training following installation and calibration, commuting to customer sites which may include driving a company vehicle and on occasions working with Service Engineers as required. There will be a need to travel which may require nights away depending on working locations and length of time required on site to complete installation works. Installation Engineers Assistant - Skills / Attributes: The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills as well as a practical mindset. They will be reliable, punctual as well as a good communicator with a strong work ethic. They must be willing to learn about current equipment, undertake training when required and be able to stay up to date with equipment and software updates.
