A really fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Technical Engineer to carry out installations of our client’s class leading Industrial solutions across London and the South East. You will also support the equipment once on site and make sure it meets customer requirements once in use. Training and a company van will be provided. Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Main Responsibilities: Carry out on-site technical engineering installations around London & South East England on all Company equipment types. Some installs require an overnight stay and typically, the installations take no longer than a day and are for hire equipment of a temporary nature. Support the equipment once on site and make sure it meets customer requirements once in use. Liaise with and instruct site agents on the use of equipment. Maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness. Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment in the 'ready for hire' process. Assist with equipment breakdowns and workshop/warehouse activities at base. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Minimum 3 years electrical/mechanical engineering experience. Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical equipment. Knowledge of ventilation/ductwork or industrial water treatment would be an advantage although full training will be given to the right candidate. Good understanding of current health & safety regulations. Good IT skills and communication skills (verbal & written). Excellent interpersonal skills. Previous/current UK security clearance (essential). Full Driving Licence (essential).
