Digital Learning Instructional Designer
to design and develop technology-enabled learning solutions to contribute to the transformation of our audit training programs for our global audit teams around the world. Job Role You will be responsible for designing digital training modules on technical accounting and audit topics for our financial auditors in a variety of formats and accessible from a range of devices e.g. short videos, e-learning modules, interactive presentations, digital based assessment activities. This will involve the transformation of our existing library of training courses as well as new modules based on emerging business requirements. As such you will be required to structure technical content and activities to optimise learning. In doing so you will: Create engaging learning modules based on technical content through the development of: learning activities to enhance the learning process student guides and training manuals assessment tools, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course Creating all training materials using the production processes developed by the Global Audit Training team, which covers all stages from Project Plan to review and validation, testing and release of the courses. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the content is technically correct, ensuring regular communication with them and following up on any review points raised by the SME. Identify the target audience’s training needs Set instructional end goals and adapt technical content to meet these Liaise with technical teams and subject matter experts who produce training content Conduct research in learning technologies and instructional design, identifying trends and best practices Maintain project documentation and course folders Use authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or GOMO for the development of in-house e-learnings Duties are likely to vary as the role develops, so to be successful you will need to be flexible. Requirements We are looking for an instructional designer who is ideas-driven, comes from an instructional design background, and is passionate about making learning an invigorating and empowering experience. The successful instructional designer candidate should have a firm grasp of how people learn, and excellent writing, communication and collaboration skills. Ideally, the perfect candidate should also have experience in managing projects and a working knowledge of basic graphic design. To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate the following: Previous experience in instructional design including use of authoring tools: writing instructional text, audio and video scripts use of a variety of authoring tools to create eLearning content - ideally Articulate Storyline, GOMO and/or Adobe Captivate Understanding of the core principles of learning design and development Knowledge of recent technological trends and developments Working in a team and building effective relationships Proven organisational and time management skills and working to deadlines Ability to adapt to changing circumstances Self-motivation and ability to work independently. Effective communication and presentation skills Fluency in both written and spoken English - a second language - French or Spanish - would be beneficial. Terms LOCATION:
