Job Purpose: As Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for the development of high-quality online learning materials. This entails proofreading, authoring, qualification mapping, and SCORM production via the Articulate 360 suite (Rise and Storyline). This exciting opportunity will be a fixed term, maternity cover appointment for a maximum of 12 months, whereby you can showcase your talents and have exposure to our exceptional Learning Content team. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: End-to-end development of e-learning materials Mapping content to qualification specifications Authoring course content when required Employing instructional design principles to produce e-learning materials using the Articulate 360 suite (Rise and Storyline) What we are looking for in you: Experience using an eLearning authoring tool (e.g. Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) Proofreading/copy editing raw and existing material Understanding of learning theory and key instructional design principles Maintaining a library of eLearning resources Qualification specification mapping Ability to accurately source and repurpose existing and external content Ability to copywrite content for a range of qualifications, as and when required Educated to degree level English and Maths at Level 2 or above Excellent team working skills Excellent timekeeping, organisation skills, and a keen eye for detail, to be able to smoothly manage multiple projects within tight deadlines Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative Show an outstanding attention to detail Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Be able to work well under pressure Be organised and able to work to tight deadlines Takes pride in their work A portfolio of design or authoring work
