Mane Energy are seeking a skilled Instrument Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a background in fire detection and alarm systems, along with a solid foundation in instrumentation and control engineering principles and their practical applications.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on Fire and Gas systems
  • Support project development, system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Act as the focal point for clients regarding Fire and Gas Systems, ensuring effective communication and project delivery


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in modifying existing equipment and specifying new instrumentation.
  • Proven track record in delivering Fire and Gas Systems, as well as Field Instrumentation (pressure, level, temperature, and flow).
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, including Functional Safety Management (IEC 61508 & IEC 61511).


Education:

  • Degree or HNC in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in an engineering environment, ideally within the energy sector.
