The role of the Instrument Technician will be to assemble and build up the component parts to make quality products fit for purpose, efficiently and consistently. They will support the Production Managers and Product Specialists to ensure delivery of our products on time. DUTIES
The role will involve: Accurately following both documented and verbal instructions in order to build complex equipment to high quality; Mechanical small parts assembly, following clean handling processes; Electrical & electronic assembly, including soldering, wiring, crimping, etc; Complying with established manufacturing systems and quality processes; Identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiency; Other duties as required. The successful candidate will be: Self-motivated and self-starting; Able to work by themselves and as part of a team; Proficient at accurate, repetitive work; Efficient; Organised. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Desirable: A good understanding of mechanical assembly processes; Experience of working within a production/manufacturing environment; Reasonable computer literacy; Experience using ERP systems, especially Epicor E10.
