Role: Instrumentation Laboratory Technician Location: Caversham, Reading Salary: £12.52 per hour (On-going temporary role) Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 3.30pm (to help avoid the traffic) We have a position available for a recent science graduate or a person with an interest in science. The role involves assisting in the disassembling, cleaning, and maintenance of a wide range of water quality monitoring equipment. In addition, you will assist in the operation of our quality system. This is an ongoing temporary position and a great opportunity to learn more about environmental monitoring equipment. We are looking to get people started ASAP. All training will be provided; however, some existing science-related experience is essential. Requirements Scientific qualifications (A Level and onwards) Dexterity Able to commute to Caversham Preferable but not essential Laboratory or workshop experience Successful candidates must complete a DBS check. We seek candidates with an interest in water quality and environmental science.
