Position Summary: Specialising in turbomachinery instrumentation, the business provides instrumentation services and products to their global customer base.

Candidate duties will include: Applying and checking various types of instrumentation, including Low and High Temperature Strain Gauges, Pressure Sensors and Thermocouples and other related technical tasks according to drawings, PowerPoints, test plans or other definitions. Adhering to established company policies and procedures, ensuring high standards of Health and Safety are maintained. Maintaining a clean and safe work area. Maintaining accurate records as required to complete and sign-off projects. Maintaining a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image with customers. Willing to work flexible hours when required.

Candidates will have: BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent subject. Experience in gas turbine instrumentation, including instrumentation application and rake & probe assembly. Experience of manufacturing techniques such as welding, brazing, soldering, machining - turning and milling, EDM, 3D Printing, metal coating and heat treatment processes. Excellent time management. Flexible and able to adapt to change. Must have good attention to detail. Be well organised and able to communicate effectively at all levels. Be computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, as well as good written and oral communication skills (English). Be able to read and follow engineering drawings, basic wiring diagrams and written and verbal instruction. Be willing to travel for extended periods of time to support customers in locations worldwide. A desire to learn new skills and develop new processes.
