A highly respected National Broker in Colchester is looking to add a Commercial Handler to its expanding team due to year-on-year growth. Overview of the Position:
Key Responsibilities: Servicing and developing accounts with premiums in excess of GBP 10,000 across all classes of Commercial Insurance from our existing client base. Receiving full support and backing of a designated account handler who will assist with market presentations and obtaining quotations for the risks you are tendering for. Candidate Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of commercial insurance experience, with sales experience being essential. Excellent negotiation skills with insurers and prospects. A desire to develop new business. Ability to meet and exceed targets and KPIs. Excellent knowledge of the insurance market and its trends. CII or progress towards it is desirable. Skills:
Commercial general insurance experience within either a broker or insurer environment. Capability and experience to deal with significant commercial insurance clients. Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills to enhance customer relationships. Confidence in negotiation, tackling and addressing insurer objections to achieve the best results for our clients. Ability to work enthusiastically and to timescales. Willingness to undertake bespoke internal computer and technical training, together with professional examinations as required.
