Benefact Group , is looking for an Insurance Broker to join our Selsdon office. This is a superb opportunity within our existing business broking team serving many charities and not-for-profit groups. The team responds to enquiries from existing policyholders via email and telephone, providing advice and assistance efficiently. Respond to a variety of enquiries from existing policyholders. Provide advice and assistance regarding current policy covers, mid-term adjustments, and renewals. Review renewals; obtain quotations using quotation systems, rating guides, or by referring to insurers. Communicate quotations, advising on the most appropriate options in terms of price and cover to meet clients’ requirements. Discuss additional exposures and covers to ensure all insurance requirements are satisfied. Create system records and issue required documentation to clients and insurers. Desirable Qualities, Skills and Experience
Insurance industry background is essential; a minimum of 2 years is desirable. Awareness and understanding of FCA rules and compliance is essential. Strong customer service focus. Confident telephone manner. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to listen and engage with people. Good numeracy and analytical skills. Robust administration skills with the ability to work accurately and consistently. Willingness to challenge assumptions and think “outside the box.” Ability to work as part of a team and manage your own workload. Preferably qualified to a minimum of Cert CII.
