Are you passionate about

system-level testing

and advanced

sonar technology ? Join ALTEN’s team and play a key role in developing and validating cutting-edge systems used in underwater environments. Collaborate with top-tier engineers, bringing your expertise to projects that matter. Location: Manchester

with

3 days on-site per week Key Responsibilities: Conduct

integration testing

at the

system level

on hardware and software components. Design, execute, and maintain

test plans

for both

automation

and

manual testing

scenarios. Leverage your expertise in

BASH scripting

and

Red Hat Linux

for efficient testing processes. Utilize

virtualization

and

Docker

to streamline deployment and testing environments. Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing to ensure systems meet rigorous performance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and optimize sonar applications. Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years

of experience in

integration testing

within complex systems. Strong knowledge of

Red Hat Linux ,

BASH scripting , and

virtualization technologies . Experience in

automation testing , complemented by manual testing expertise. Familiarity with tools like

Docker

for containerized applications. Proven ability to write comprehensive

test plans

and execute system-level validation. Sole British citizenship

and eligibility for

security clearance . Desirable Skills: Experience in testing within

defence

or

sonar systems

domains. Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks for hardware-software integration. Additional Information
