Interim Accountant

to assist a leading manufacturing business in Derby with their year-end process and management accounting responsibilities. About the Role: As the Interim Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of financial reporting and management information during a critical period. Working closely with the finance team, you will be responsible for: Preparing and finalising year-end accounts in compliance with statutory requirements. Managing month-end processes and producing accurate management accounts. Providing insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making. Ensuring robust financial controls are maintained and improved where necessary. Collaborating with internal and external auditors to facilitate the year-end audit. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Supporting ad hoc financial projects and process improvements. Key Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need: Qualifications:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Experience:

Proven track record in a manufacturing environment, with solid experience in year-end and management accounting. Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are essential. Soft Skills:

Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Availability:
