REF: NBO53565 Job Title: Interim Chief Financial Officer Industry: Technology Employment Type: Contract (Interim) Location: London Salary Guide: £150,000 - £170,000 + Bonus + Benefit Our Client, a global integrated technology business is looking for an interim CFO to lead, develop and direct the finance function with responsibility for financial reporting, risk management and strategic planning. The successful candidate will serve as a key strategic business partner to the CEO and wider executive team. For the right person, this could lead to a permanent position. Description The Interim Chief Financial Officer will manage the company’s daily financial performance while providing strategic advisory support to drive organisational initiatives and long-term goals. The duties and responsibilities for this Interim Chief Financial Officer role include but are not limited to: Lead the finance function to provide high-quality, efficient, and reliable financial processes to support and drive the business. Provide strategic advisory and guidance to the executive team as a key partner in decision-making. Assess, evaluate, and report on the financial performance of the organisation in relation to near and long-term strategic goals, budgets, and forecasts. Provide financial insight and recommendations to support the achievement of company objectives. Lead the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting processes. Ensure regulatory compliance with all relevant regulations. Ensure an optimal balance sheet structure to support financial stability and growth. Oversee Treasury Manager to ensure treasury, cash management, and covenant compliance is proactively managed. Oversee Tax Manager to ensure tax and financial strategies are developed. Build high-quality working relationships with external stakeholders, presenting board reports and concise analysis tailored to the parent owner business requirements, and establish yourself as an authoritative finance lead. Skills The skills and experience required for this Interim Chief Financial Officer role include but are not limited to: ACA or CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant. Previous senior finance leadership experience working within a large group environment of £100m + revenue. Proven track record of transforming a finance function to support a high-growth buy-and-build business plan. Supporting pre and post-acquisition activities. Self-starter with strong commercial skills, pace and confidence in challenging the status quo. Confident communicator with a change management mindset.
