We are currently recruiting for an Interim Children's Home Manager for an EBD Home in North-East Wales.

As the Interim Children's Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and development of all children in care. You will lead and motivate a dedicated team, working closely with external stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of residential care staff, ensuring a high standard of care and support for children and young people. Oversee all aspects of the home's operations, including staffing, budgets, safeguarding, and performance management. Work in partnership with local authorities, health services, and other key stakeholders to provide holistic care and support. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and achieve outstanding outcomes for children in care. Develop and implement care plans, focusing on individual needs, personal development, and educational attainment. Manage staff training and development, promoting a positive and nurturing environment for both children and staff. Key Requirements: Proven experience in managing a children's home or similar residential care setting. Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and regulatory frameworks. Experience in leading teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and child protection procedures. A passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Health and Social Care, or equivalent (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is desirable).
