Our client is a global shipping service provider. Due to a strong deal flow, they anticipate requiring the assistance of an interim corporate Lawyer in the New Year on a project basis.
The successful interim Lawyer will have strong experience in handling a full range of corporate mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and the necessary ancillary documents. Candidates should be qualified Lawyers in England & Wales, with upwards of 2 years' PQE. Prior experience within the maritime/shipping sector is ideal. Language skills (French, German, Spanish, and/or Italian) would be highly beneficial but are not a prerequisite.
The successful Lawyer will likely be based in the UK, accustomed to working on international matters, and can expect to be engaged on an hourly or daily rate basis, depending on the project specifics. The interim counsel will work closely with the Group Legal Counsel.
Projects are likely to start in the New Year, and the end client is interested in reviewing profiles sooner rather than later.
