Interim Director of Data Analytics
Location:
Central London (Hybrid) - 12 Months Initially, to £1k Per Day, Outside IR35 My client has an urgent requirement for an Interim Director of Data Analytics to join a high-calibre Senior Management Team with specific responsibility for delivering transformational change across the entire Data landscape including Data Quality, Data Modelling, Data Operations and Data Engineering. Knowledge of Data Analytics in a Financial Services environment would be highly regarded. Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver the organisation’s Data strategy focusing on high-quality Data practices. Manage a large Data Analytics function to implement the Data strategy across the full Data landscape (Data Analytics, Data Quality, Data Operations/Engineering). Lead the integration of new technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data) to optimise Predictive Analytics across the business. Collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with the full Senior Management Team to deliver the Data Analytics infrastructure, insights and step changes to meet the organisation’s business strategy. Own, manage and lead specific Data Analytics programmes aligned with the business strategy, fostering technical excellence across the Data Analytics function. Skills and Experience:
A proven and demonstrable track record of achievement in strategic Data Analytics transformations at the Executive level is essential. Extensive experience of leading large Data Analytics teams to deliver transformational solutions utilising the latest technologies (AI, ML, Big Data), again at Executive level. In-depth technical knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Engineering which will command instant credibility. Outstanding stakeholder management expertise with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Experience of Data Analytics in a Financial Services setting would be ideal. This is a senior management role with responsibility for developing and delivering a transformational strategy across the full Data environment so strong strategic expertise will be required, along with detailed operational experience in a complex Data Analytics environment.
