A growing business with operations spanning multiple regions is seeking an ACCA / ACA or CIMA qualified Interim Finance Professional to join their team for a 3 month fixed-term contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and streamline critical financial processes in a group company setting while playing a key role in an ERP system upgrade.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organised qualified accountant who thrives in high-paced settings and has operated at Financial Controller or similar level. Key Responsibilities / Experience:

Excel & Data Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data mapping capabilities. Experience in mapping and reconciling data for ERP system upgrades or similar transformation projects. Process Improvement: Drive efficiencies and optimise reporting structures, for seamless group, statutory, and tax reporting. Collaborate on mapping projects in Excel as part of the ERP system upgrade, ensuring data integrity and streamlined processes. Assist the FD in the following Finance duties: Oversee monthly internal reporting across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with Group standards. Deliver insightful variance analyses against forecasts to inform strategic decision-making. Manage statutory reporting, VAT returns, R&D claims, government filings, insurance returns, and external audit preparation. Lead month-end processes with precision, ensuring account reconciliations, ledger review, and intercompany balancing are accurate. Review and approve adjustments, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, and intercompany reconciliations. Ensure precise fixed asset postings, with accurate depreciation and amortisation aligned with company policies. Strengthen internal controls, conducting balance sheet reviews and proactively resolving issues ahead of formal reporting. Manage daily ledger activity, cash flow across multiple entities, bank payments, cash forecasting, and supplier payments. Key Skills and Knowledge:

Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification with proven process improvement experience. Expertise in ERP and finance systems, with the ability to adapt quickly and optimise workflows. Advanced Excel skills. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory reporting, and technical principles. Exceptional numerical confidence, attention to detail, and a data-driven approach to problem-solving. Outstanding troubleshooting skills with the ability to evaluate complex issues and implement effective solutions. Strong documentation and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
