Interim Finance Director

Interim Finance Director | £130-160,000 | London | 3-6 month contract A rare opportunity to join an esteemed housing association in London on a 3-6 month contract as their Interim Finance Director. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and directing corporate financial planning. The Role The responsibilities of the Finance Director will include: Develop financial strategies, plans, and policies to drive business growth Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and financial reports for senior management Manage financial risk, cash flow, and financial compliance Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met Oversea financial modelling to appraise the capital and revenue aspects of all new opportunities and joint ventures to guide investment decisions and ensure these meet agreed KPIs and contribute to the long term viability of the business Ensure Developments meet all of its financial risk, regulatory and statutory requirements in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that anomalies and queries are dealt with swiftly. Prepare and present to quarterly Development Committee (sub-Committee of Main Board) papers to update and reflect the ongoing Developments performance Strategic planning support for the Developments SLT resulting in robust commercial decisions About You: Proven experience as a Finance Director Have managed large teams of up to 20 employees Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports Prior experience of JV arrangements, a leveraged balance sheet and senior banking facilities and covenants Experience in the appraisal of large scale, complex mixed use Development projects Experience in Capital/Revenue Accounting, commercial evaluation, financial control and Treasury Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent Experience of the commercial property development sector or housing association development arm Apply Now: Take the next step in your career journey and apply for this Interim Finance Director vacancy below.
