who are looking at recruiting a

Finance Manager . This is a

6 month contract

role paying up to

£28 p/hour . This will be based 5 days p/week in the office. Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager: Develop, manage, and monitor departmental budgets in collaboration with department heads. Ensure budget alignment with the college's financial goals and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior leadership, providing in-depth analysis and insights to support data-driven decision-making. Oversee the finances for ongoing and new projects, including capital expenditures, grants, and funding applications. Assess the viability of projects and ensure alignment with the college's strategic goals. Analyse budget performance, identify variances, and work with department managers to implement corrective measures where needed. Serve as the primary finance contact for non-financial managers, providing training, guidance, and insights to facilitate effective decision-making. Previous Skills and Experience of the Finance Manager: Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Experience in a finance manager role, within the education sector. Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Interviews and start date ASAP so please apply NOW if interested or send your CV directly to us.
