We are currently working with a well-known business based in the South West that is looking for an interim financial accountant to join them for 9-12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP across multiple jurisdictions. Prepare and review technical accounting papers for senior management. Support the preparation of statutory accounts and manage external audits. Lead the implementation of new accounting standards. Provide technical advice on complex financial transactions. Collaborate with finance and operational teams to improve reporting processes.
Minimum Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent). Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and consolidation. Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical or financial accounting role, ideally in a multinational or retail environment. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
