Job Description
Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organisation.
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/MD and members of the executive management team.
Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
Provide insights on the financial implications of business activities.
Manage financial planning and analysis department.
Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place.
Comply with all financial regulations and standards.
Line manage small finance functions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
Professional accountancy qualification is essential, eg CIMA, ACCA, ICAS etc.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent regulations.
Ability to strategise and solve problems.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
