Your new company The multinational organisation develops, manufactures and supplies health products. The company is looking to bring in an interim financial controller to support the finance team through bringing system integration and audit. Your new role The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and will work alongside the existing financial controller and FP&A manager onsite. Your new role is to provide support with prioritising and coordinating audit requests and daily tasks for the finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of AP and AR functions, cash flow forecasting, and providing ad hoc reporting and analysis for the site operations team. Additionally, handling general accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with legislation and tax reporting, managing audit queries efficiently, meeting group reporting deadlines, and recommending improvements to the financial control environment and month-end processes during the transition to SAP are also crucial. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced interim financial controller required to come and support a team in Cheshire for a 6-month period. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, with the ability and willingness to get involved in a diverse range of tasks to support the finance team. The business is going through an SAP integration and the existing finance team require additional bandwidth to ensure that they are able to support the user acceptance testing of the SAP project whilst also managing the day to day running of the finance department and the year end audit. The interim financial controller will need to be a flexible and resilient profile, comfortable in stepping in to any task necessary to support the team, whilst also being capable of stepping back to more broadly help the team to prioritise tasks.
