About the Role: Hays are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a dynamic manufacturing company based in the Bridgewater area of Somerset. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health and stability of their operations during a period of transition. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards Provide strategic financial advice to senior management Supervise and support the finance team Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders Requirements: Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in financial software and MS Office What We Offer: Competitive daily pay rate of 200 - 315 depending on experience Flexible hybrid working arrangement Opportunity to work with a leading manufacturing company Supportive and collaborative work environment
