Interim Financial Controller Job - Manufacturing - North Wales - Hybrid Working
Your new company No 1 on site Financial Controller job working for a private equity owned manufacturing group.
Your new role Reporting to the Group CFO, you'll manage and oversee the finance and accounting functions for the site. Duties will include: Managing and overseeing the finance and accounting function for the Division / business Support, assist, and, where necessary, deputise for Operations Director. Manage and review monthly management accounts and ensure timely circulation of Key Performance Indicators and variances against budget and forecasts, optimising information content. Control managed working capital and maximise cash generation Ensure that proper and adequate financial and business processes are in place to support the financial control of the business Work with Department Heads to provide measurement and monitoring of each department's performance, improvement initiatives by analysing daily/weekly data to ensure optimal shop floor performance, ensure costs do not exceed plan, and need to manage and protect margin targets Ensure provision of weekly manufacturing efficiency and Monitor and control of costs, ensuring costing system accuracy, ensure costs do not exceed plan, and need to manage and protect margin targets Mitigate risks and seek continual improvement of controls and reporting Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Weekly review of costs to manage and protect margin targets What you'll need to succeed CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with strong leadership and previous site manufacturing experience.
