As the organisation gears up for this pivotal phase, the leadership team is seeking an experienced financial visionary to guide them through a period of change, to transform systems and processes, and ensure long-term financial sustainability as they prepare for a strategic event. The Role: Global Financial Controller This is not just any financial leadership role. As the Global Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of the organisation's transformation, leading the financial charge as a true deputy to the CFO. Key Responsibilities: Be the Change Agent: Drive financial transformation by resolving legacy challenges and implementing robust systems to enhance financial operations globally. Shape Strategic Decisions: Collaborate directly with the senior leadership team, providing strategic insights and boardroom-level guidance to shape the organisation’s financial future. Lead a Global Team: Oversee a multi-country finance team, streamlining reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes to ensure the organisation operates seamlessly across continents. Set the Stage for Future Success: Play a crucial role in preparing the business for future growth, while positioning it for a successful exit or sale in 2027. Candidate Profile We’re looking for a leader who thrives in dynamic, high-stakes environments and can deliver impactful change. You’ll have: Immediately available Big 4 experience: A background in Audit in the Big 4 / Top 10 training is highly desired Experience leading the end to end finance function in mid-sized organisation with experience in project based service / consulting environments Proven Transformation Experience: A track record of overseeing financial transformation, from systems implementation, TOM to resolving complex legacy accounting issues. Leadership with Gravitas: The ability to influence at both the strategic and operational level, earning the trust and respect of senior leadership. Resilience and Agility: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly challenging environment and navigate complex financial landscapes. Global Expertise: Experience working within multinational teams and managing diverse financial operations across multiple geographies. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with systems like SAP (Desirable) or similar, and a passion for implementing cutting-edge solutions to streamline operations. Private Equity: Experience in private equity-backed environments or carve-out situations is a bonus, but not essential.
