Group Financial Controller

to join our team on an interim basis for 6 months.

About the Role: As Group Financial Controller, you will lead the finance function, driving operational excellence and supporting strategic growth. With oversight of financial reporting, cash flow management and internal controls, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business success.

Key Responsibilities: Produce accurate monthly accounts and insightful management information reports. Oversee all operational finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cost accounting and revenue recognition. Manage cash flow and ensure timely and compliant financial transactions, including VAT and statutory returns. Lead month end and year end processes, budget preparation, forecasting and business planning. Develop and maintain robust financial controls, updating them in line with business growth. Provide exceptional leadership to the finance team, ensuring deadlines are met and team development is prioritised. What We Are Looking For:

A qualified accountant (ACA) with a proven track record in a senior finance role. Strong technical expertise in operational finance, with proficiency in finance systems and processes. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage large data sets and identify actionable insights. Outstanding communication and influencing skills, adept at managing a range of stakeholders. A hands on leader with excellent people management experience, committed to team development. Location and Flexibility: You will be based in Surrey with hybrid working arrangements. During onboarding, you will be required in the office 3 to 4 days per week, transitioning to 2 to 3 days thereafter.
