are pleased to be supporting a key Client based on the outskirts of Liverpool City Centre in the recruitment of an Interim Group Financial Reporting Accountant for a period of 12 to 14 months on a fixed term contract. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the successful recruit will ideally be ACCA/ACA qualified, or have a strong technical financial reporting background. Offering hybrid working: 3 days in office, and 2 days WFH. Job details will include the following: Production of financial reporting for Group Finance Stakeholder engagement across Group (Financial Reporting, Corporate Projects, Treasurers, Tax, divisional finance teams) Year-end statutory reporting for a large group and its subsidiaries, and help to manage external audit relationships Ad hoc projects as required around internal audit, assurance, and commercial initiatives Support the Group Management Accounts Team in the preparation of monthly management accounts and other management information Experience/Qualifications ACCA/ACA Qualified or previous experience in a similar role Must have strong financial accounting background having worked in a Group role for a larger business Strong stakeholder experience, as this role will be liaising with all different levels across the Group Good understanding of UK GAAP and related governance legislation Must be a team player, always happy to help another member of the team Strong communication skills and good experience managing multiple projects Salary/Benefits £65,000 to £70,000 per annum (possible more dependent on experience) Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 WFH) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (opportunity to buy and sell holidays) 37.5 hours per week (agile working) Pension (employee pays up to 10%, employer will match) Life assurance Free parking Various other flex benefits This business is an excellent investor in their people, it has a great culture Located 10 minutes outside of Liverpool City Center If you would like to find out more about this Interim Group Financial Reporting Accountant job based in Liverpool, please apply.
