Interim Head of PR focuses on leading the university's media relations activity.

- Leading the university's media relations activity.

- Deliver creative communications campaigns across a variety of channels.
- Leading the university community engagement programme, working collaboratively with community leaders and elected representatives.
- Create an effective reactive media response to deal with crisis and other issues.
- Managing and motivate the PR team.
Skills and requirements
- Extensive experience in media relations (proactive and reactive), with proven ability to build strong relationships with journalists.
- A proven track record in community engagement, managing a variety of stakeholders including elected representatives.
- Proven experience managing a team of staff.
- A naturally strategic outlook on communications, but happy to deliver campaigns on a tactical level.
Confirmed role details
- For the right candidate they would be willing to pay up to £50K pro rata and are also considering £300/day Ltd as a day rate.
