Are you an experienced leader in SEND provision, looking for a rewarding challenge in a supportive environment? We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Interim Headteacher to join our SEN school in Rotherham. This temporary position will run until the end of the current academic year, offering a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic and caring team in a school committed to providing exceptional education and care for children with special educational needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership across the school, ensuring high standards of education, care, and support for all pupils with SEND. Manage and support a dedicated team of staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment. Ensure the continued implementation and development of the school s SEND provision, tailored to individual pupil needs. Work closely with parents, external agencies, and local authorities to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. Oversee the curriculum and ensure it meets the diverse needs of the school s student population. Lead on staff development and ensure staff are well-equipped to support the learning and well-being of SEND students. Key Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a SEND setting. A comprehensive understanding of SEND legislation, strategies, and best practices. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, parents, and external agencies.
