Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager – Food Manufacturing Location:

Regular travel across two factory sites in Milton Keynes and Tipton Salary:

£65,000 per annum + car allowance + bonus Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead and drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives across two of their manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities:

Policy Implementation:

Ensure health, safety, and environmental policies are aligned with company standards and regulations. Safety Culture:

Support factory teams in fostering a strong safety culture and embedding compliance into daily processes. Audit Management:

Manage customer and regulatory audits by overseeing documentation, procedures, and certification. Incident Management:

Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Training Development:

Create and deliver comprehensive training programs on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices. Risk Assessment:

Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and assessing the effectiveness of safety measures. Collaboration:

Work closely with leadership, management, and employees on all HSE-related matters. Continuous Improvement:

Drive initiatives to enhance HSE performance, fostering a proactive and compliant environment. Environmental:

Act as the focal point for environmental sustainability, including waste and water management and renewable energy initiatives. Travel Requirements:

This role involves regular travel between two key manufacturing sites in Milton Keynes and Tipton during the working week. Requirements:

Qualifications:

NEBOSH certification (or equivalent), with additional environmental qualifications such as IEMA highly desirable. Experience:

At least 5 years’ HSE experience within a food manufacturing environment. Expertise:

Strong understanding of HSE management systems, environmental impact assessments, and initiatives. Skills:

Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Benefits:

£65,000 per annum Bonus:

Annual STI bonus of 16% Car allowance:
