Paying between £45-£50K (Day Rate Equivalent), we are recruiting an experienced Management Accountant on an Interim basis (initial 3 months) for this social housing provider based in South Manchester. This role offers a wide variety incorporating an all-round management accounts BAU support role whilst acting as a Finance Business Partner alongside the Finance Manager, supporting stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare and oversee the production of monthly management accounts. Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to gather necessary data. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, maintaining the integrity of financial data. Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaising with external auditors as required. Act as a finance business partner to non-financial stakeholders, offering guidance and insight on financial matters.

About You:

You must be immediately available (or on short notice) for this role. You must have proven experience as a Management Accountant (Qualified or By experience is equally valuable). Strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting, with a focus on attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with staff at all levels. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in finance software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt to new systems. A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a desire to contribute to the team's success.
