Finance Shared Services Manager The Accountancy and Finance Division at The ONE Group is currently working for a reputable organisation based in Kettering. Reporting into the Central Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily payroll function from start to finish and supervising two payroll assistants. Responsibilities Process monthly payroll data using relevant payroll software, as directed. Manage ad-hoc payroll data, including setting up new starters, registering leavers, and issuing P45s, P60s, and P46s. Perform overtime, Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), and Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) calculations, as required. Prepare submissions and payments to HMRC and pension providers, as instructed. Address payroll queries from staff and liaise with other teams within the Trust. Process payroll journals and support general finance team operations. Support and mentor two payroll team members, providing guidance and leadership. Assist with the implementation of the iTrent payroll system to enhance operational efficiency. Person skills and attributes required: Extensive experience in payroll and pensions, with strong technical knowledge. Proven experience using iTrent payroll systems. Ability to work effectively in a busy payroll function. Strong people management and mentoring skills.
