My client is a large shared service organisation based in West Yorkshire, seeking an Interim Payroll Manager to join their team for a minimum of 3 months.

The role requires you to be in the office at least once a week, and is paying up to £25 per hour.

Main duties of the role include:

Oversight of the payroll and pensions department Support the team whilst they recruit on a permanent basis Answer complex queries within the payroll team Engage in project work where necessary

My client is therefore looking for a payroll professional with: Local government experience or at least shared services experience ITRENT/ Oracle experience Strong, up to date legislation and technical knowledge High volumes Can get stuck in and hit the ground running, providing an arm around the team in a time of uncertainty Project experience would also be a bonus
