I am working with an exciting charity who is seeking a passionate and experienced Interim PR Manager to join their team for an initial 3 month contract. About the Role: As PR Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing public relations strategy. You will be responsible for: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, government officials, media contacts, and donors. Developing and implementing impactful PR campaigns to raise awareness of the charity's work and drive public support. Crafting compelling narratives that effectively communicate our mission, impact, and values to diverse audiences. Providing strategic communications counsel to the Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership team. Writing high-quality press releases, speeches, op-eds, and other communications materials. Managing media inquiries and proactively pitching stories to relevant media outlets. Monitoring media coverage and analysing its impact. Contributing to the development and implementation of the organisation's overall communications strategy. About You: Proven experience in public relations and communications in the charity sector. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. What's on offer: A day rate of £154.15 daily rate + £19.18 daily holiday pay PAYE An initial 3 month contract Hybrid working, 3 days in the charity's South London Office (London Borough of Sutton) and 2 days from home.
