Interim Property Services Manager

INTERIM PROPERTY SERVICES MANAGER HERTFORDSHIRE Park Avenue are pleased to be working exclusively with a Local Authority in Hertfordshire who require an Interim Property Services Manager. This role is initially 3 months but has potential to be extended to 6 months. You'll be managing a team of 5 Surveyors (4x Building Surveyors and 1x Asbestos Surveyor), as well as managing the following responsibilities: Management and delivery of a capital/planned investment programme on property portfolio. Develop, write and review strategies, procedures and processes on key service areas such as, major/planned works, aids and adaptations, damp and mould. Report on programme performance/progress to members and senior managers. Manage contracts and negotiate any changes to contract terms and deliverable. This role is focused on their Investment and Operational portfolios - incl, leisure centre, offices, retail parades, depots, pavilions. It is not for a housing portfolio. Experience in a role similar to this (in a Local Authority) is required, specifically with non-residential assets. You're needed in the office/on-site 3 days per week, with the remaining 2 days at home. MRICS or RIBA required.
