An exciting new interim opportunity to manage the operational day to day of a Children's Residential Home for an initial 6 month interim period.

The home is newly opened and will benefit from an experienced leader to help steer and support the staff group in their collaboration. The home has been through its first inspection and registration with positive outcomes cited, so there is a solid foundation to build from, creating a warm and safe environment for the 3 young people in the home.

My client will be holding interviews later this week for a start date ASAP.

About your role as Children's Residential Registered Manager:

Supporting with the Council's committed Ofsted improvement agenda through leading/delegating responsibilities to support effective long term change. Compliance including extensive knowledge of the 2015 regulations. Process management including staffing rota system, interim staff management during staff absence, staff supervisions, training and case file audits for children. Supporting recruitment and retention of staff in post. Leadership/behavioural change to align with routines and patterns to benefit the young people in the unit.

Your required experience as Children's Residential Registered Manager: You will be an established senior leader with recent experience in a children's residential setting as a registered manager. Demonstrable background establishing long term embedded change to be child-led whilst also demonstrating improved practice and outcomes in accordance with Ofsted regulations. Experience as a Registered Manager with a minimum of 2 years' experience. Ability to identify positive outcomes or change within a Residential setting. Minimum Level 5 or higher qualification in Leadership and Management. 2 years' worth of references. Ability to create and report monthly action plans and demonstrate progress at meetings. Can provide evidence of rapid change to practice and policies.
