Registered General Manager , you will take charge of overseeing daily operations across the nursing home, ensuring excellence in care delivery, compliance, and overall team performance. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised, high-standard care. Overseeing care plans that meet the full spectrum of residents’ needs—social, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements. Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and key stakeholders. Managing financial budgets and ensuring the service operates efficiently. Driving a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and safety. Collaborating with external health agencies and statutory bodies. Job Criteria - Essential: A management qualification in social care, health, or housing (e.g., MBA, NVQ 5, ILM 5, RGN, RMN). Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a nursing home. Strong understanding of dementia care and supporting vulnerable adults. Proven experience managing financial plans and budgets. Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills. Job Criteria - Desirable: NMC Pin (Registered Nurse) is desirable but not essential. Experience working with external agencies like ICBs and Local Authorities. Strong track record of improving service outcomes. Experience leading care homes within the not-for-profit sector.
