Interim Senior Estates Surveyor
to join their
Commercial Property Team
for an initial 6-month period. The role will predominantly be remote, with occasional visits to the office or sites as required. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring the council's assets are effectively managed and maintained. Provide expert advice on landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations, rent reviews, and renewals. Conduct property valuations, inspections, and asset management tasks to maximize value. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic advice and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Contribute to the development and delivery of the council's property strategy and long-term plans. Key Requirements: RICS qualified
with extensive experience in commercial property management. Proven
public sector experience , ideally within a local government or public sector context. Expertise in
landlord and tenant
matters, including lease negotiations, rent reviews, and general property asset management. Ability to manage a diverse property portfolio and provide high-quality advice in line with council policies. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Benefits: Flexible working arrangements with
