an Interim Senior Financial Accountant, who will play a crucial role in our finance department, providing expert financial guidance and support across the firm. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our financial strategy and operations, ensuring the firm's financial health and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Drive the financial accounting focus for our system project and be a hands-on member of the project team. Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes. Manage tax compliance, including VAT and corporation tax returns. Oversee the financial audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors. Own the cash flow model and analysis, refining the process and assessing borrowing needs. Mentor and support junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. About You: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience. Strong technical accounting skills, with a thorough understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS. Proven experience in financial control. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges. Experience in the legal sector or professional services is highly desirable.
