About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Interim WMS Testing Manager to lead and oversee the testing phase of a warehouse management system (WMS) implementation for a leading organisation in the Midlands. This critical role requires a professional with a deep understanding of WMS systems, strong testing expertise, and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for the WMS implementation. Lead the end-to-end testing process, including unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, developers, and operational teams to ensure testing requirements are met. Identify, document, and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution. Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management. Ensure the WMS meets business needs, operational requirements, and quality standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience managing WMS testing projects in a warehouse or supply chain environment. Strong knowledge of WMS platforms and associated processes. Expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timelines.
