Mechanical Design Engineer

to join our team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering mechanical services for residential developments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed designs for HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical services for residential buildings. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams to deliver coordinated designs. Prepare technical drawings using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM. Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations and relevant standards. Provide technical support and advice to clients and project teams throughout the design and construction process. Perform site visits when required to oversee project progress and ensure adherence to designs. Requirements Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, specifically for residential projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and Revit. Familiarity with UK building regulations and compliance standards. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
