Intermediate - Senior WLC Consultant £40k-£55k City of London A global leader in building services engineering is expanding their sustainability team due to a period of sustained growth and is searching for an experienced consultant specialising in Whole Life Carbon Analysis. You would have the opportunity to work on high-profile commercial towers in the heart of London, complex mission critical projects, the decarbonisation of existing assets through refurbishment, and projects within the healthcare and life-sciences sector. You will have the opportunity to pursue chartership within your field and be given the chance to progress based on merit over everything else. Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an Intermediate - Senior Whole Life Carbon Consultant to support the team in terms of sustainability, Net Zero, Lifecycle Assessment, Embodied Carbon calculations, and Circular Economy advice within the Built Environment. Undertake Lifecycle Analysis, Whole Life Carbon, and Embodied Carbon studies utilising One Click LCA and/or client tools to meet deliverables and standards. Prepare Sustainability, Whole Life Carbon, and Circular Economy Statements for developments to complement planning submissions. This will include coordination and managing sustainability contributions from many different design team stakeholders. Undertake studies relating to BREEAM Credits: such as Man 02 Lifecycle Costing, Mat 01 Lifecycle Analysis, Material Efficiency studies, and Circular Economy. Prepare high-quality reports that clearly and concisely communicate the issues involved and the conclusions. The preparation of Lifecycle analysis reports, Embodied Carbon Studies, Net Zero Carbon Presentations, and sustainability strategies will be a core part of the job role. Understand & apply the range of current and proposed UK sustainability-related legislation to project solutions e.g. Building Regulations Part L, FIT's, CRC, RHI's, Local Planning Policy, proposals, etc. Whether you're working in larger corporate companies or a small SME, this is certainly one to take note of.
