The Intern Data Enablement Analyst is responsible for supporting the Data Enablement Leader to establish and maintain robust data governance and data quality practices across the organisation. This is a 12-month, full-time internship (5 days per week) - a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience! Responsibilities: Support the data enablement team to establish and uphold Data Governance policies, processes, and controls. Provide support to business stakeholders on their data governance journey. Assist with the profiling of existing data assets, building data quality rules and implementing issue resolution processes. Support the business to develop and implement systems and process improvements that will prevent reoccurrence of data quality issues. Participate in the enhancement of guidelines that ensure the ethical and responsible application of AI technologies. Foster safety and trust through agile governance. Partner with cross-functional teams to leverage agile methodologies. Qualifications: Working toward tertiary qualifications in business, finance, information management or similar discipline. Passionate about gaining experience with metadata and data quality tools (Informatica Data Management Cloud). Some experience with programming languages (e.g. SQL), low code development, and/or data visualisation tools (Power BI preferred). Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills. Able to work independently yet collaboratively, and always as part of a team. Detail and quality-oriented. Strong time management and organisational skills.
