We are now actively recruiting for our 2023 Internship Program.

Cadence, a world leader in Electronic Design Automation tools, is currently looking for talented CS, CS/EE or Physics undergraduates for internship positions. The ideal candidate will be a software developer in their penultimate year, to work alongside experienced software engineers on Virtuoso, our flagship mixed-signal design automation platform.

Based at our office in Edinburgh, the vibrant capital of Scotland, you will have the opportunity to experience working as part of a talented and highly experienced local team, in a global organization. Examples of previous Intern projects include process improvement utilities (Python) and prototypes of new features (C++). Project selection is based on individual skills.

Position Requirements The successful candidates will already have had exposure to Object Oriented Design, preferably in C++. Experience with Linux, Python, EDA tools or electronic design is not essential but would be a welcome addition. The internship positions are for 3 to 6 months duration.
