What you will do: Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of internal audit engagements across non-financial services sectors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality. Develop and maintain strong relationships with client leadership teams, acting as a trusted advisor on internal audit, governance, and risk management matters. Oversee the design and execution of risk-based audit plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements. Provide strategic insight and recommendations to improve clients' internal control environments, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation strategies. Deliver impactful presentations of audit findings to boards, audit committees, and executive teams, driving meaningful outcomes. Drive business development efforts, including identifying opportunities to grow client relationships and responding to requests for proposals. Mentor, coach, and develop senior team members, fostering leadership capabilities and technical expertise. Take an active role in internal initiatives, including practice innovation, training development, and recruitment.

What you will have: Extensive experience in internal audit, with a focus on non-financial services sectors such as retail, technology, manufacturing, or public services. A relevant degree and professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIIA, or equivalent). Strong technical knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk management, and governance practices. Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and complex client engagements. Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and boards. A strategic and innovative mindset, with a focus on delivering value and identifying opportunities for improvement. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences. Flexibility to travel as required for client engagements.
