Job Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our client, a dynamic health and safety organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the internal audit function, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enhancing the effectiveness of our client's risk management processes.

Responsibilities and Duties: Develop and implement the internal audit plan. Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions. Collaborate with various departments to ensure audit processes are understood and adhered to. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance. Provide training and support to staff on internal audit procedures and best practices. Assist in the development and maintenance of audit policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Professional certification or equivalent. Proven experience in internal auditing, preferably within the health and safety sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
