We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join our team. It is a great opportunity which will allow you to come in and really make an impact in the business. The Internal Auditor will support the Internal Audit Manager in executing the internal audit plan. You will test the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and self-starter with an understanding of internal audit methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement. As a key Governance, Risk, and Assurance team member, you will contribute to NG Bailey’s strategic goals by providing independent insight, advice, and assurance across the Group. Some of your key deliverables will include:

Develop comprehensive audit plans, including objectives, scope, and methodology Conduct detailed audits of various departments and processes, including operational and compliance areas Utilise a variety of audit techniques, such as risk assessments, control testing, and data analysis Prepare clear and concise audit reports, summarising findings, conclusions, and recommendations Gather and analyse relevant documentation and information Identify and document control weaknesses and inefficiencies Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and improvements recommended in audit reports What we’d like you to have:

Proven technical knowledge of internal audit, including IIA standards Experience planning and executing internal audits Strong ability to identify, assess and evaluate risks and controls in a commercial and operational environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate internal audit findings and recommendations to senior leadership Proven ability to manage tasks and deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail Collaborative team player with a positive and adaptable attitude Strong commitment to professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality, adhering to the highest standards of professional practice Dedicated to ongoing professional development, including staying informed of the latest regulatory developments and internal audit methodologies Next Steps:
